Reiki Level 1 | The First Degree
Progressing to Reiki Level 2
Moving from Reiki Level 1 to Level 2 is a gentle yet meaningful progression. During this phase, practitioners spend time refining their self-healing practice and integrating the foundations they’ve already learned. This period of growth naturally prepares them to receive the sacred symbols and deeper teachings introduced in Reiki Level 2 Practitioner training.
At Reiki Level Two, students receive an additional attunement that deepens their connection to the Reiki energy. This process strengthens the natural flow of life force energy and empowers the practitioner to work confidently with the sacred Reiki symbols introduced at this stage.
During Reiki Level 2 training, students are introduced to four sacred symbols — the Power, Harmony, Distance, and Grounding symbols. Each serves as a unique key for directing energy and intention with greater focus. These symbols allow practitioners to refine their healing work, supporting specific needs and enabling Reiki to be shared across any distance.
Your attunement will take place during a scheduled Zoom session. Together, we’ll discuss the process and prepare with our Rise original Grounding exercise and a Solfeggio-inspired meditation designed to align your intention and heighten your experience.
Afterward, we’ll share a gentle debriefing session to reflect on your insights and support your integration.
After your distance attunement, take time for mindful self-care and quiet reflection, just as you would following an in-person initiation.
The Reiki energy will continue to harmonise and balance your chakras in the days that follow, deepening your connection to the practice. To support this integration, we encourage all students to observe a 21-day cleansing period, allowing the energy to settle and strengthen for the best possible results.
Yes — completing Reiki Level Two Practitioner Training qualifies you to begin offering Reiki professionally. At this level, you’ll have the knowledge and ability to share Reiki with others, either through your own practice or as part of existing wellbeing services.
It’s important to note, however, that formal accreditation can only be awarded by recognised Reiki bodies following an in-person attunement. If you’re considering a professional career in Reiki, we recommend completing your in-person attunement — which can be purchased separately to complement your online learning — ensuring your certification meets industry standards and supports your continued growth as a practitioner.
