Professional Standards
For those intending to practise professionally, it’s important to note that the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) — the UK’s voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners — advises that courses delivered entirely by distance learning do not meet their requirements for registration. CNHC registration demonstrates that your training meets the Reiki National Occupational Standards and the Core Curriculum for Reiki, ensuring your qualification is recognised and credible within the professional field.
If your goal is to become a practising Reiki therapist, we therefore recommend choosing the in-person or blended route. This ensures your training fully aligns with national standards while offering the depth and energetic connection that only in-person attunements can provide.
