Psychic surgery is an advanced Reiki technique that allows practitioners to remove deep-seated energetic blockages and disturbances from a patient’s aura and physical body.
Psychic surgery involves manipulating subtle energies to remove “energetic debris” that can cause physical, emotional, or mental imbalances. It’s an extension of Reiki practice, requiring a more focused use of energy for cleansing and healing.
The Reiki Master prepares the space by ensuring a calm and clean environment, often using symbols and rituals. The patient is also prepared through gentle Reiki cleansing to harmonise their energy before surgery.
The Master invokes Reiki energy and asks for protection and guidance from their guides and the universal life force, which helps to ensure that the energy channelled during the procedure is of the highest and purest form. Silently affirm that the energy will be used for Psychic surgery.
Draw the Reiki Master Symbol and Power symbol on your palms before drawing the power symbol on each Chakra and over your body to empower and open yourself.
Draw all six Reiki symbols in the air and, using your intent, visualise their power filling the room.
Using Reiki scanning techniques, the Master assesses the patient’s energy field to locate any energetic blockages or areas of stagnation. This diagnosis helps pinpoint where psychic surgery will need to be performed.
Unlike physical surgery, the incision in psychic surgery is energetic. Harnessing the power of intent, the Reiki Master will visualise the energy within their fingers extending outwards and draw the Power symbol over them.
With their intention firmly set, the Reiki Master draws the harmony symbol over the affected area. Using the energy from their fingers, they enter the body energetically, drawing out any negative energy or blockages. Depending on the nature of the blockage, this may be visualised as removing a specific object or simply clearing out darkened energy. The Reiki Master will then forcefully blow the energy away from their fingers.
After the extraction, the area is treated with extensive amounts of Reiki energy to fill the ‘void’ left by the extracted negativity. This helps heal and rebalance the energy centres (chakras) and restore the aura to its optimal state.
The Reiki Master uses Reiki symbols to ‘seal’ the aura, ensuring the healing energy remains locked within and continues working after the session. This also protects the patient from energetic vulnerabilities post-surgery.
The session concludes with grounding exercises for the patient and the practitioner. This step is crucial in returning patients to normal consciousness and ensuring they feel stable and connected to the earth.

They see it as a way to work directly with life force energy to promote transformative healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. This session represents the first step in the healing process, by affording first-time clients an opportunity to share their physical and/or emotional health and wellbeing concerns.
