Spiritual Development: Part 2

1. Psychic protection

As energy healers operating with elevated vibrations, we must recognise the importance of psychic protection to safeguard our spiritual, physical and emotional well-being. When channelling healing energy and supporting others, it’s essential to establish boundaries and protect ourselves from potential energetic disturbances or negative influences.

Psychic protection safeguards against unwanted energies, emotional drains, and psychic attacks, allowing us to maintain our energetic integrity and balance. This enhances our well-being and ensures the effectiveness and sustainability of our healing work, contributing to our spiritual growth and well-being.

Self-protection can be accomplished in a number of ways, such as visualising energetic shields, invoking divine protection from spiritual guides or guardians, and setting clear intentions for maintaining boundaries and filtering out negative energies. Additionally, grounding practices and cleansing rituals can contribute to our overall psychic health, allowing us to stay centred, resilient, and empowered in our role as energy healers.

By prioritising psychic protection, we create a safe and supportive environment for ourselves and our clients, ensuring that our healing work remains effective, sustainable, and conducive to our spiritual growth and well-being.

Incorporating the Five Reiki Principles into our daily routines can help us develop mindfulness, compassion, and inner peace. They guide us toward a balanced and harmonious life and promote personal growth and spiritual development within ourselves and the world around us. By living in alignment with our highest values and aspirations, we can lead a more fulfilling life.

2. How to clear negative energy

There are several effective methods for clearing and releasing negative energy. Here are a variety of techniques you can try:

Smudging

Burn sacred herbs such as sage, palo santo, or cedar and waive the smoke around your space to cleanse and purify the energy.

Salt Baths

Take a relaxing bath with Epsom salt, sea salt, or Himalayan salt to absorb negative energy from your body and promote energetic balance.

Visualisation

Envision a bright white or golden light surrounding you, penetrating and dissolving any negative energy. Imagine it flowing through your entire being, cleansing and purifying your energy field.

Sound and Meditation Healing

Use vibrations from singing bowls, bells, chimes, or chanting to clear stagnant energy and promote energetic harmony. Guided meditations can help release negative thoughts and attachments.

Crystals

Place protective crystals like black tourmaline, selenite, or obsidian in your space or carry them to absorb and transmit negative energy.

Connect with nature

Immerse yourself in nature to ground yourself and release negative energy. Walk barefoot on the earth, spend time by rivers or the ocean, or recharge and rejuvenate naturally.

Energy Clearing Techniques:

Practice energy clearing techniques like aura brushing and energy sweeping. You can also use Reiki symbols to remove energetic blockages and release negative energy from your energy field.

Decluttering

Remove physical clutter from your environment to allow positive energy to flow freely. Cleanse and organise your space regularly to maintain an energetic balance.

Affirmations

Use positive affirmations to shift your mindset and release negative energy. Repeat affirmations such as “I release all that no longer serves me” or “I am surrounded by love and light” to develop a positive energy field.

Breathwork

Practice deep breathing exercises to release tension and stagnant energy from your body. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and exhale fully through your mouth, releasing any negativity with each breath.

Journaling

Write down your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to release pent-up emotions and negativity. Journaling can help you process and release energetic blockages, promoting emotional healing and clarity.

Setting Boundaries:

Establish clear boundaries with others to protect your energy and prevent negative influences from draining you. Learn to say no to things not aligning with your well-being and prioritise self-care and energetic preservation.

Experiment with these different techniques and find what resonates best with you. Incorporate them into your daily routine to maintain energetic balance and promote well-being.

    The introductory consultation

    This session represents the first step in the healing process, by affording first-time clients an opportunity to share their physical and/or emotional health and wellbeing concerns.

    The Divine Reiki studio provides a safe and peaceful environment, within which to discuss any such issues, and allows me to answer any questions you may have regarding Reiki Healing.

    Information concerning clients is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to unauthorised persons. This obligation shall continue in perpetuity.

    Soothing Bathtime Aromatherapy

    Simply blend 5 to 20 drops of your favourite essential oil(s) with a tablespoon of carrier oil (we recommend using Grapeseed or Argan oil).

    Then gently swirl 3-5 drops of your favourite  Eternal Sunshine blend into a warm bath to unlock the therapeutic benefits that pure essential oils have to offer.
